Games Tournament March, April and May 2011
During March, April and May you can help Fun With Books give books to young children by playing games. What could be more fun? What games you play and how you run the tournament is entirely up to you. You can charge a small admission or just collect donations. It is entirely up to you. After your tournament all you have to do is write a cheque and send it to Fun With Books with the words "Game Tournament" on the front. It is that simple.
We all have our favorite games - Scrabble, Monopoly, Chess, Backgammon - they are all good. But why not take the opportunity to learn one of these popular board games: Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan or Qwrikle. You can even try some new collectable card games like Magic the Gathering or Pokemon.

I think this is a great idea! It is a perfect match for Fun With Books. It is a great opportunity to get together as a family and encourage reading. Most games require reading of some sort. Kids will be reading and not even know it! It will be fun....and that is what Fun With Books is all about.
For more information, feel free to contact any of the Board Members.
